SUPPORT US

Patrons

As a registered charity, we rely on the generosity of individuals, businesses, and charitable foundations to ensure that we continue to offer a diverse and dynamic range of productions. Such support enables us to plan more effectively for the future, maintain and improve our facilities and expand our educational activities: it guarantees that generations to come are able to experience the force and emotion of live performance.

So, if you are passionate about the arts, why not consider joining our highly successful Patrons Scheme? You will join a critical group of supporters whose annual gifts ensure that our sizeable fundraising targets are achieved, and means we can keep delivering world-class productions to the widest possible audiences.

There are various levels of support

  • Patron: £500 (minimum annual donation)
  • Supporting Patron: £1000 (minimum annual donation)
  • Principal Patron: £5000 (minimum annual donation)

In thanking you for your generosity we will:

  • Publicly acknowledge you in literature and on our website (if desired)
  • Send you updates on the work of the theatres and how your support is helping
  • Offer you priority booking for Festival City Theatres programme
  • Invite you to make use of the private Patrons Room in the Festival Theatre in the daytime and evenings
  • Invite you as guests to our annual Patrons event

To find out more about becoming a Patron please email Lucy Clement on lucy.clement@eft.co.uk, or call 0131 622 8087.

If you are a Patron, and wish to use the Patrons Room for private entertaining, or have any questions or suggestions relating to the scheme, please phone 0131 622 8087 and we will be delighted to help.

One-off Donations

Donations of any size are always welcome.  We can supply the necessary gift aid forms and advise you on the most tax-efficient way to support us. Additional support facilitates the expansion of our education and access activities and ensures that as many people as possible participate in our exciting, community-based projects.

For further information on supporting the Festival City Theatres Trust please contact Lucy Clement on 0131 622 8087.

Tax Efficient Giving

With Gift Aid you can make your donation worth more. For every pound you donate we get an extra 28 pence from the Inland Revenue. It's that simple.

Giving quoted shares and securities

Share giving is now even more attractive. Shares which might make very little difference to you could make a big difference to Festival City Theatres Trust. If you decide to give to FCTT in the form of quoted shares, you can claim income tax relief. In addition, you do not have to pay the capital gains tax that would have been eligible had you sold the shares.

Giving through your Self Assessment Return

This new scheme allows you to nominate Festival City Theatres Trust to receive your tax repayments as a donation. Our unique code which should be quoted on your return is PAK37QG.

Leaving a Legacy

Festival City Theatres Trust - it costs you nothing now, but could mean a great deal to us in the future. If you have already remembered us in your Will, we would be delighted to hear from you - we would like to show our gratitude during your lifetime.

To find out more about any of the above ways in which you can support Festival City Theatres Trust please email lucy.clement@eft.co.uk or telephone on 0131 662 1112.
